--vmail from Kyle in Johnston, Iowa

A: NetMeeting is a video conferencing software program from Microsoft. It comes with Windows 98. You can also download it from Microsoft's Internet Explorer Downloads page if you have Windows 95. Internet Explorer 4.01, which you can download for free, also comes with NetMeeting.

Leo tips for using NetMeeting

Get RealPlayer.

To lauch NetMeeting, double-click the icon. The first time you use the program, you'll need to set up the audio and video settings. First, select your computer's video card. If you don't know which video card you have, it's easy to find out. Just look in the Control Panel in your Start menu, click on the Display icon, then click on the Information tab. After you've selected the video card, run the audio tuning wizard, get online, and you're good to go.
